PowerPoint to JPG

Teachers, administrative coordinators, and team managers frequently need to share presentation slides without attaching heavy PPTX files to emails or student message threads. This desk tool converts your PowerPoint and OpenDocument presentations into lightweight JPG images formatted for quick communication. Files transfer over encrypted HTTPS to our conversion server where LibreOffice renders the slides as a PDF, and pdf.js draws each slide into an image in your browser.

How to convert PowerPoint to JPG

  1. Select your PPTX, PPT, or ODP slide deck from your office computer or classroom drive.
  2. Pick your required "Image size" and set the "JPG quality" slider for email or chat use.
  3. Use "Only these slides" under More settings if you only need a few handout pages.
  4. Download individual slide JPGs or save the entire lesson deck as a convenient ZIP file.

Classroom chats, staff messaging, and secure slide conversion

Distributing entire slide decks across school learning management systems, parent messaging channels, or workplace chat groups often leads to file size complaints and formatting issues on mobile devices. Converting key slides into JPG graphics allows instructors and office administrators to post homework instructions, event notices, or meeting summaries directly into the message feed. Files up to 95 MB upload securely over HTTPS to our conversion server, where LibreOffice interprets the presentation into an intermediate PDF.

The server discards the presentation and the temporary PDF immediately upon returning the result, leaving no copies or public download links behind. Once received by your browser, pdf.js renders each slide into a JPG image named sequentially, such as deck-slide-1.jpg, so you can share individual slides or download all pages in a ZIP archive.

Handout sizing, compression levels, and presentation formatting

Selecting "Small (960 px wide)" suits phone message feeds, whereas "Full HD (1920 px wide)" is the default for desktop announcements and "Large (2880 px wide)" serves crisp projected presentations. Older 4:3 decks keep the same width and come out taller, 1920 × 1440 at Full HD. The "JPG quality" slider ranges from 30 to 100 with an 88 default, helping keep file sizes small for quick email transmission.

The converter captures static slides showing all elements visible at once, meaning slide transitions, entrance animations, background audio, video clips, and speaker notes are omitted. If a slide deck relies on specialized fonts not installed on the server, LibreOffice substitutes similar available fonts; embedding fonts in PowerPoint before saving prevents formatting changes. When you need a unified document file for student printing rather than individual images, use PowerPoint to PDF.

Questions

Can I post these slide JPGs directly into Slack, Teams, or an LMS?

Yes. The output JPG files are standard web images that upload easily into classroom forums, staff messaging channels, and LMS announcements.

Do my speaker notes show up on the exported slides?

No. Speaker notes are not exported; each image shows only the slide itself.

How do I convert only two specific slides for a parent email?

Open More settings and type the slide numbers into "Only these slides", such as 2, 5, to convert just those selected visual aids.
